Certification
The Suverying & Spatial Sciences Institute provides recognition through professional certification:
Any spatial science professional may apply for SSSI certification. Certification is a formal "portfolio-based" process by which individuals who have demonstrated a level of expertise in the spatial professions are identified to the public and other stakeholders.
SSSI Certification is available at two levels:

The
Spatial Sciences Institute members and the Institution of Surveyors
members voted to merge the two institutes to create the new Surveying
and Spatial Sciences Institute. Content on
